Scott Long grew up surfing, racing motocross and spending weekends at the river and in the deserts of Southern California. In 1980, he moved up the coast to Santa Cruz for better waves and a slower pace. His career in action sports led to a lot of work in front of the camera. It wasn't long before his natural curiosity about how things worked drew him to the other side of the business, the world of cameras, light and sound. Together with Randy Bond, Longboard Pictures represents not only a uniquely talented production partner for Gateway Media, but a collaboration of two creative artists who are also lifelong custom bike and car enthusiasts with a passion for excellence and speed.
